OUR INSPIRATION
Establishing this organization was inspired by the havoc caused by the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic which indicated that there is more to life than what we see and know that requires collective responsibility for the sake of humanity.
The urge to bring health care, education, food, and economic opportunities closer to the needy became the driving force that prompted us to register as a company in 2023 with the Uganda Registration Service Bureau (URSB Reg No. 80034303592379) and subsequently registering as a national non-governmental organisation in 2024 with the Uganda NGO bureau hence the organization’s trajectory and culture.
Human Integrity Organisation’s founders exhibit a unique blend of idealism, drive, and pragmatism taking into account the need to balance the lofty ambitions with the practical realities of running an organization, navigating bureaucratic hurdles, and securing sustainable funding.
