WHO WE ARE
Human Integrity Organisation, Hi is a women-led non-profit organisation working with women, girls, and marginalized populations in Uganda and South Sudan.
Inspired by personal experiences and a desire to make a difference, Human Integrity Organisation, Hi was founded on 01/Dec/2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown which became evident that there is more to life than what we see and know that requires collective responsibility for humanity.
The urge to bring health care, education, food and economic opportunities closer to the needy became the driving force that prompted us to register as a company in 2023 with the Uganda Registration Service Bureau (URSB) and subsequently registering as a national non-governmental organisation in 2024 with the Uganda NGO bureau. At this point, our positive impact became evident hence shaping the organization’s trajectory and culture.
Human Integrity Organisation’s founders exhibit a unique blend of idealism, drive, and pragmatism taking into account the need to balance the lofty ambitions with the practical realities of running an organization, navigating bureaucratic hurdles, and securing sustainable funding.
